fragments of my field recordings
Here are fragments of different field recordings. Most of them are originally couple of hours long. Each one of them has been recorded with much care and preparation. Most of the recordings have been recorded as far as possible from any kind of noise pollution. As most of you can't probably imagine, it could take a day or even more to get just one good recording. Nature feels sometimes quite hostile, so it isn't easy job recording out there - either it's extremely cold and windy or the mosquitos try to eat you alive. But it could very well be a delightful experience. In any case, it's always important to stay quiet near the microphones. Usually when I have set up everything I leave the recording site and come back later. It's normal when you later hear that animals have been sniffing around the mics.
